Proximity cards are very difficult to forge, are very durable and work in the dirtiest environments without problems. This is due to the proximity card sending data to the Smart Clock without any physical contact required. The Smart Clocks’ with proximity card readers can be outfitted with or without keypads, for job costing. This allows employees to easily switch between job codes at the terminal. Proximity-card systems also support biometric or fingerprint verification to add an additional layer of accountability to your Time & Attendance system.
