Reports
Use the Smart Clock® with your PC to automatically calculate
employee hours for payroll, reduce and eliminate clerical costs,
and actually help reduce your company’s annual labor expense. Here is
how the system works:
Everyday,
employees clock IN and OUT on the Smart Clock® using
pre-encoded plastic badges.
Using the Out-of-the-Box® software, your PC collects
the time and attendance data from the Smart Clock and calculates
all employee time according to your pay policies. The system also
provides reports of daily and weekly hours for supervisor approval,
and prepares all hours input for payroll.
Daily Report - This report compares
each employee’s actual IN and OUT times to scheduled hours for the
day. It also flags certain errors and special conditions such as
missing punches, late punches, etc., for supervisor review.
Week to Date Report - This report
shows each employee’s hours by day and total for the week to date,
separated into regular and overtime hours.
Approaching Overtime Report - Supervisors can often reduce
or prevent overtime by rescheduling employees, if they know which
employees are nearing the overtime mark. This special report allows
you to review only those employees who have accumulated in excess
of a set number of hours for the week.
Additional Reports
The
system also provides several additional reports, including the following:
Time Card Reports - This report
prints all the IN and OUT time transactions for each employee for
the week.
On-the-Clock Report - On request,
at any time, this report can tell you which employees are present.
Absent Report - Lists all employees
who had an unscheduled absence for that day.
Tardy Report - Lists all employees
who were late for the day.
Hourly Report - For an analysis
of your labor hours, this report gives you the total man-hours worked
at each hour of the day for the entire company.
Biweekly and Semimonthly Reports
- For companies with either biweekly or semi-monthly payrolls, these
reports show each employee’s total hours by day and for each week
and the total of regular and overtime hours for the entire pay period.
Interface the System to your Existing
Payroll
The
optional ASCII File Interface puts your employee’s hours records
into a format which can be read by other computer programs and database
managers. The employee hours records created with the ASCII File
Interface can be easily re-formatted to meet the requirements of
your existing payroll system.
